An urgent message to our supporters:
This is a very critical time in our world. Never has the need for the work that we do been so imperative! This is also a critical time for our organization.
In order to be more effective in our efforts to communicate our vision, we are "redesigning” ourselves - and this process is including renaming ourselves.
We will now be known as Common Peace, Center for the Advancement of Nonviolence.
You will see many changes to our website, our literature and our general image in the weeks and months to come. In order to make these changes, we need your support.
Every vehicle needs fuel. The primary "fuel" that it takes to run a nonprofit is the contributions of individuals who claim that entity as their very own. Our tank is running
close to empty. AND YOU CAN TAKE OWNERSHIP NOW. You can help "fill 'er up," and your donation would not go to a major multi-national corporation, like when you buy gas for
your car, nor would it go to "fuel" the Washington war machine – It is a tax deductible donation.
Your contribution will assist us in conveying the message that not only is Peace an achievable and desirable goal, but that the only viable means to reach that end is Nonviolence. Nonviolence
must be a personal practice, a way of life.
Keep this powerful vehicle moving forward! Give now! Give the equivalent of even one tank of gas. $25-50, at today's price of gas, would "fuel" one of our printings for our
trainings. Or, continue to part of our phone bill - or our postage. It takes about twenty tanks of gas to sponsor one of our trainings for a community advocacy group. The equivalent
of just about ten tanks of gas pays our rent for a month.
Anything you can give contributes towards keeping this "engine" of Peace running in the right direction.
