2001 Youth Event at Mount St Mary's

 Nonviolence Works Youth Event - July 25, 2001 

It was magic at the end of the day.  A 9.2 on a scale of 10.  Two 
hundred and sixty-five very excited youth, 17 organizations, 
participatory workshops, 103 evaluations collected -- 37 want to 
be peer mediators, 17 want to join a youth peace coalition. This 
event will be repeated next year -- we have lots of offers of help. 
Great volunteers, alas not enough food, and alas, too much 
profanity, but participants left with a real sense of high.  NEXT 
YEAR WILL BE PHENOMENAL!
